Fragile Things is a Centaurworld-focused fanzine that will celebrate the creativity in the universe of Centaurworld. Join the herd and all of the amazing characters created by Megan Nicole Dong and her team in this zine! GUIDELINES
Writers
Application:- 3 or more samples of your work. Does not have to be Centaurworld-focused, we are only looking for quality and creativity in writing.
- Must be SFW and under 3k words. If you have a piece that is more than that, please choose your strongest 3k words and submit that.
- Please submit via a link to a hosting site - AO3, ff.net, Google Drive or similar. Must be viewable, so please check your sharing settings.
- We will ask for a potential pitch for what you'd like to write. This will not affect your acceptance into the zine.
Upon acceptance:
- Writers will be asked to write a single
one-shot with a maximum of 2.5k words.
- Can be focused on anything within the world of the show such as lore or characters - AUs are welcome
Artists
Application:- 3 or more pieces that showcase your best work. Must be full colour, finished pieces. Does not have to be related to Centaurworld, but we will welcome it if it is!
- Must be SFW.
- Portfolio - can be a google drive, carrd, etc. Must be accessible to guests, so please make sure to change permissions. If we cannot view it, your application will be skipped over. No limit on the portfolio pieces.
- A potential pitch for what you will be drawing. This will not affect your acceptance into the zine.
Upon acceptance:- Artists will be asked to create a minimum of one piece for the zine, though up to three will be allowed.
- It can be in the form of a page illustration or a comic strip, though spot illustrations will be counted as additional.
- It can focus on anything from Centaurworld, ranging from the lore, characters, or even background art.
- The piece can be paired with a writer’s fic as a collaboration, for which a sign-up sheet will be posted shortly after acceptance results have been released.
Merch Artist
Application:- 3 or more pieces that showcase your best work. Must be full colour, finished pieces. Does not have to be related to Centaurworld, but we will welcome it if it is!
- Must be SFW.

Upon acceptance:- Merch artists will receive a google sheet with all of the kinds of merch the zine will offer - please fill out the sheet with a pitch under the kind(s) you would like to do. Merch Artists can do up to 3 pieces of merch.
What is a zine? A zine is a non-official, fan-created mini magazine, full of art and short stories concerning specific fandom, pairing or character.What is this zine about? In short, this zine is about the wonderful Centaurworld! For more details, please see the About section.Is this zine for-profit or for-charity? According to the Interest Check results, we'll be doing a 50/50 split! With half going to a charity and half getting divided equally amongst the contributors. The charity we've selected is Anera, which provides grassroot solutions for refugees in the Middle East.Will contributors receive a free copy? The contributors will always receive a free pdf plus whichever digital merch we’ll be doing. As for the physical portion, we will strive to provide each contributor with a full physical bundle depending on the sales.Is this zine SFW or NSFW? Due to the nature of the source material, this zine is SFW ONLY.Is this zine general or shipping? GEN ships only please! In the words of Zulius and Glendale: “But we’re platonic!”Will this zine allow AUs? Yes! Full freedom will be allowed for contributors in this aspect.Will you be accepting cosplayers?
